1. Who We Are

Survival Group LLC ("Survival Group," "we," "us") is an authorized American Heart Association Training Center providing CPR, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Heartsaver certification courses and skills-verification services at locations across Connecticut. 2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to deliver certification courses and respond to inquiries:

• Registration information you provide when booking a course or appointment (name, email, phone, course selection). Bookings are processed through our scheduling platform, Enrollware, which has its own privacy policy governing data you enter there.
• Inquiry information you submit through contact or quote forms on this site (name, email, phone, message).
• Certification records required to issue your American Heart Association eCard (name, course completion, email for card delivery). eCards are issued through the AHA's system.
• Usage data collected by analytics tools (see Section 5) such as pages visited and general device/browser information.

We do not collect or store payment card numbers on this website. Course payments are processed by our scheduling platform.

3. How We Use Information

• To schedule and deliver courses, and to issue your certification eCard
• To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
• To send service-related communications about your registration (appointment confirmations, eCard delivery)
• To improve the website and our services

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies

This site uses only the cookies strictly necessary for the website to function, plus cookies set by the analytics tools described in Section 5. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work, though analytics may be incomplete.

5. Analytics & Third-Party Tools

We use the following tools to understand how the site is used and to measure our own advertising:

• Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager - site usage measurement and advertising attribution (Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy)
• Microsoft Clarity - anonymized session replays and heatmaps to improve usability. Clarity masks all text input; it does not record passwords or form contents.
• Google Ads - conversion measurement for our advertising campaigns

6. Data Retention

Inquiry records are kept for up to 24 months. Course and certification records are retained for the period required by American Heart Association Training Center record-keeping standards and applicable Connecticut regulations.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing training@survival-group.com or calling (203) 859-9438. We will respond within 30 days. Connecticut residents may also have rights under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA); nothing in this policy limits those rights.

8. Children's Privacy

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Course registrations for minors are completed by a parent, guardian, or the organization (school, daycare, or program) arranging the training.

9. Terms of Service

By using this website or registering for a course, you agree to these terms. Course registrations include the AHA online course key and an in-person skills-verification appointment as described on each course page.

• Rescheduling & cancellations: Students may reschedule their appointment up to 24 hours prior to their reserved verification timeslot using the self-service link in their confirmation email. To reschedule by phone, call (203) 859-9438. Repeated no-shows may forfeit the verification appointment; the online course key remains yours.
• Course completion requirements: Certification requires passing the AHA online cognitive exam and the hands-on skills verification. A course completion eCard is issued only after both are complete.
• Refunds: Full refunds are available prior to accessing the online HeartCode course modules or within 14 days of purchase if no modules have been activated.
• Card replacement: AHA eCards are verifiable on cpr.heart.org, where you can look up and print your eCard.
• Certification cards: eCards are issued by the American Heart Association and remain verifiable at cpr.heart.org. Survival Group does not issue credentials independently of the AHA.
• Website content: Site text, pricing, and schedules are provided in good faith and may change; the appointment calendar at booking reflects current availability and pricing.

10. AHA Training Center Notice

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.

We may update this page from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be noted on this page.
